Mother’s Day Morning Tea

Burnie Brae in Chermside is hosting a Mother’s Day Morning Tea on Wednesday, 8 May with sweet and savoury treats.

Special guest speaker, PhD Centaur Fellow Deborah Prior, will share her inspiring story of growing up in a children’s home, searching for her birth mother, and overcoming societal prejudices. Acclaimed singer and Burnie Brae’s singing group teacher, Christie Dawkins, will also perform live at the event, which runs from 10am to 11.30am.
