Boogie Woogie With The Belles
Feel like escaping into the past for a night? The Pacific Belles are a vintage-style vocal trio who take their inspiration from war-time performers The Andrews Sisters, as well as acts like Doris Day and Vera Lynn. They'll be transporting their audience to the 1940s and '50s with a dinner and show at Aspley Hornets.

Queensland manager for The Pacific Belles Susie McCann said the band performed a mix of swing and jazz music.

This will be The Belles' first time performing in Aspley, and we are very excited to bring this unique show to such a great venue, Susie said.

Aspley Hornets marketing coordinator Matt Teljega said the club planned to give members a night to remember with this event.

Each person will receive a drink on arrival and a two-course meal to go along with the performance, he said. There will be a designated area for people to get up and dance the night away, and we hope to recreate the atmosphere to give our attendees that real 1940s vibe.

The Pacific Belles have years of experience and amazing reviews.

The Pacific Belles ' Betty, Dot, and Mabel ' have appeared on ABC TV and radio, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and on Channel Ten's The Living Room. They will take the audience at Aspley on a journey back in time to relive all the favourite classics of the 1940s and 1950s. They'll play familiar songs such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree, In The Mood, and many more, while the audience enjoys a meal and a dance.

Matt said the event was a great excuse for guests to get outside their comfort zone.

The highlight will be seeing all attendees relax and forget their day-to-day schedule just for a couple of hours ' the escape from work and that moment where they are completely in the zone of dancing and enjoying their night without anything holding them back, he said.

If you 'ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive' and want to 'Roll Out The Barrell', then The Pacific Belles show will really get you 'In The Mood', Susie said.
